Mrs Mabel Shears age 30 years, wife of Ralph Shears, died at the family home near Fleming on Sunday at 11 p.m.. Death was due to complications that developed following the birth of a daugher on Sunday afternoon.
Mrs Shears was the daughter of John Jordan and Martha Hupp of Warren Township. She was born in Warren township. She was united in marriage with Ralph Shears eight years ago. Surviving with her husband and parents are six children, Marjorie, Ethel, Mary, Everett, Thomas and the infant Martha Lovina.
Note: Aunt Mable's death certificate shows her birthdate as 16 Aug. however the 1900 census gives her birthdate as 16 Nov.
