"GEORGE EISENHOWER - George Eisenhowre (sic), formerly of Marshall county, died at his son's in Bureau county, on Nov 10th. 1897. He was born in Ledmore (sic) county, Pa., April 2, 1825; married there to Catherine Clemens, Dec 7, 1852, by which union there were four children,-U.M. (sic - W.M.) Eisenhowre, J. H. Eisenhowre, Susan E., and C. E., the wife of M. McElroy, who survive him. He was a good man, husband, father and neighbor, and lived to the age of 67. He was known to many of our readers, who will mourn with the family in thieir loss. Peace to his ashes."
