Jemima is the daughter of Edward Benjamin Kiddle and Eliza Stead Jones.

Jemima emigrated to the U.S. on the steamship Idaho sailing from Liverpool, England, October 17, 1877, with her mother and six siblings. The company of 150 L.D.S. saints in charge of William Paxton arrived at New York, October 29th, and at Salt Lake City November 7th.

Married William Henry Brooks, December 4, 1889, Logan LDS Temple, Logan, Cache Co., Utah.

"BROOKS - At 804 west Third North street, this city, March 19, Jemima J. Brooks, wife of William Henry Brooks, and daughter of Edward B. and Eliza S.J. Kiddle; born Aug. 17, 1876 (was 1866) in London, England.

Funeral services Tuesday, at 2 p.m. from the Twenty-eighth ward meeting house. Friends invited."
