Foster R. "Dutch" Taylor, 75, of Decatur, died 9:55 p.m. Thursday (30Nov1989) in Decatur Memorial Hopsital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Boiling Springs Church of God. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home & 1 hour before services in the church. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetary. Memorials: American Cancer Society.
Mr. Taylor was born in Lebanon, KY, son of Marshall & Minnie Taylor. He retired in 1976 after 21 years with Caterpillar Inc. & was affiliated with the Boiling Springs Church of God. He married Opal M. Martin in 1940.
Surviving are his wife; sons, James R. & John F., both of Decatur; daughters, Mrs. Joe (Linda) Hutton of Washington, IL; Mrs. Rodney (Suzanne) Wiedenkeller of Las Vegas, NV; Mrs. David (Sara) Foley of Decatur; sisters, Dorothy Seaton & Lucille Hudson, both of Decatur; brothers, Edward of Decatur; Neal of Tucson, AZ; 6 grandchildren; 1 step-grandchild.
One son, 1 sister & 3 brothers preceded him in death.
