Services for Mrs. Green B. (sarah) Lovett, 92, of 1007 Shermell, are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. W. W. Luster officiating and burial in the Old Union Cemetery.
Mrs. Lovett was born August 14, 1886, in Sabine County and died Monday in a local nursing home after a lengthy illness.
A resident of Angelina County most of her life, she was the daughter of the late William Joe Burns and Ritta Brown Burns and the granddaughter of the late John R. Burns, pioneer East Texas settlers.
She was a member of the Little Flock Baptist Church.
Survivors: daughters, Mrs. Selah Magdalene Grayson and Mrs. Bertie Ruth Cooper, both of Lufkin; sons, G. B. and Clyde F., both of Lufkin; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
