Mrs. Emma Frances Bocher, 80, the wife of Otto F. Bocher and a resident of Flat Rock, RFD 1, died Saturday in Richard Baker Hospital at Hickory after a period of declining health.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Grace Lutheran Church with the Revs. J.L. Norris and Lewis Thornburg officiating. Interment will be in Shepherd Memorial Park and with Cecil Nattress, Jimmy Hutchinson, Herb Volkert, William Rusher, Hoyt Lippard and Ray Carrier as pallbearers. The body will remain at Jackson Funeral Home until time to lie in state 30 minutes at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested donations to the North Carolina Lutheran Home at Hickory.

Surviving are the husband; a son Jack Bocher of Baltimore, Md.; a sister, Mrs. Ella Hauser of Crandon, Wis.; and three grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
