Served in the Civil War
Application for Pension -stated by Mr. Aderhold that he served in the Infantry-Company B. 15th Georgia.
Enlisted about Apr 1861 until close of the War. Was seventy seven years of age at time of application-living Hill County. Application 17823. Appears to have suffered some sort of disability after enlisting-then appointed as Conscripting Officer until the end of the War.
Family tree gives marriage to Margaret Hester Johnson April 5, 1855 in Hart, Georgia-unable to find wife(supposidly she died about 1903 and is buried in Navarro County, Texas).
Betty Carrol Cooper Omholt

son of Abraham Aderhold - Sarah Harbour

This is more a notation of interest with respect to Dr. Abraham Conrad Aderhold's service in the CSA.
Please note the attached photocopy of the "TUGALO BLUES-FRANKLIN CO., GA" listing the "Privates" in
that company. The first two names are "ADERHOLD", WITH THE FIRST NAME being A.C. Aderhold
(Abraham Conrad), and the second name being "J.H.P. Aderhold". This second name is a young
cousin of Abraham Conrad, John Harbor Palmer Aderhold. Abraham was approximately 27 when
he joined this unit, but young John was only 17. BOTH men, thankfully, survived the war.contributor: Barbara Petty48293290

I have found no records to show that he was a doctor. Census records list him as a farmer.
