Mrs. Leni L. Spradlin Passes at Her Home
Mrs. Leni Leota Spradlin, aged 84, died at 7:50 p. m. Friday at her home at 901 Sedgwick. Born Oct. 10, 1864, at Centerville, Ia., she came to Wichita from Oxford, Kan., in 1928. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Widow of Sidney Spradlin, who died in 1942, Mrs. Spradlin is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Gladys Tripp of 2030 North Waco, Mrs. Flora Hinkle of 114 1/2 Pattie, Mrs. Olive Copeland of Moline, Kan., and Mrs. Flossie Elder of 901 South Sedgwick; a son, Justin Spradlin of Independence, Kan.; a brother, Jim Johns of Chicago, Ill.; 13 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Downing mortuary. Burial will be in Wichita Park cemetery.
