Mrs. Mary Kalas
Mrs. Mary Kalas, who was taken to the Columbus hospital in Great Falls last Tuesday, died at that institution Sunday afternoon. She was 19 years of age, the wife of Matthew Kalas and the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Riebar of this city. Death was caused by puerpal septicemia.
Besides her husband, she leaves an infant daughter, her parents, several brothers and sisters and other relatives to mourn her death.
Burial was from St. Mark's Catholic church Tuesday at 1:30 o'clock and interment was made in Pleasant View cemetery. The services were largely attended, the Jan Hus assembly attending in a body. The pallbearers were Andrew Brutofski, George Brutofski, Joe Mihalik, George Morris, Andrew Wanta and Pete Geldrich.
