Arlene Fay Allander, 67, of Marysville, passed away Monday, April 26th, 2010 at her residence.
She was born in Harrisburg on December 12, 1942, the daughter of the late Raymond and Jean I. (Hoffman) Beard.
She had worked in the deli at the former Giant Food Store on 29th Street, Harrisburg.
Arlene enjoyed traveling and had visited 48 states.
The widow of Delbert Allander.
Surviving are her companion of 23 years, Lawrence A. Kerstetter; daughters, Kathleen M., wife of Scott Laning, Anderson, SC, Sherry A. Banks, Karen Powley; and son, Timothy L. Allander, all of Harrisburg; twin sister, Darlene K. Zimmerman, Marysville; 5 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Anthony Berardone.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 1, 2010 in the Bethany United Methodist Church, 400 Lansvale Street, Marysville, with Pastor Carola Beasley-Topliffe officiating.
Viewing will be held from noon to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday in the church.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Duncannon.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Michael J. Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville.
