Former Utah resident Editha "Teddy" Floriene Mower, 86, of Grants Pass, Ore., died Nov. 26, 2006.

She was born June 4, 1920 in Thistle.

She graduated from Carbon High School and later received her RN from Holy Cross School of Nursing.

She devoted 40 years of service to the nursing profession in Utah, where she lived until two and one-half years ago when she moved to Grants Pass, Ore., to live with her son and daughter-in-law.

Editha enjoyed attending her church.

She also enjoyed planting a summer flower garden as well as collecting a variety of knickknacks, which she proudly displayed in her home.

Her hobbies included reading, golfing, playing bridge, Tai Chi and line dancing.

She especially loved sports of any kind.

Survived by sons, Phillip Greer (Ruby) of Grants Pass, Ore.; Chris Joe Sisson of Flora Vista, N.M.; and daughter, Jessie Albrecht (Bill) of Cour d' Alene, Idaho; grandchildren, Summer Greer of San Francisco, Calif.; and Brent Albrecht of Cour d' Alene, Idaho.

She requested that her ashes be scattered in the surrounding hills of her childhood home in Helper.

Arrangements under the direction of Stephens Family Chapel.
