Mr. Willie Cobb, 80 of Frakes, Kentucky, passed away June 13, in the Middlesboro Community Hospital.
Mr. Cobb was born December 30, 1895, in Bell County, the son of the late Matthew and Florence cobb. He was a resident of Bell County for all of his life. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired coal miner of this area. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Partin Cobb, October 17, 1974. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Lizzie Lowe.

Survivors include two daughters, Elsie Cobb of Frakes, and Edna Fletcher of Middlesboro; three sons, Bradley Cobb of Frakes, Andrew (Jr.) Cobb of West Plains, Missouri, and Arnold Cobb of Lewiston, New York; three sisters, Pearl Gault of North Vernon, Ind., Lillie Royster of Eavnsville, Ind., and Doll Mason of Frakes; five brothers, Orville Cobb of Middlesboro, Silus Cobb of Frakes, Jim Cobb of Middlesboro, and Steve and Estil Cobb, both of Frakes; 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 16 at the Shumate Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wade Partin, and the Rev. Charlie Browning officiating. Music will be proveded by Larry Davis and the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Choir. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. tonight at the Shumate Funeral Home.
