Death of Captain David S. Jones
Captain David S. JONES, Mayor of Harrisonburg, - died at the residence of his son-in-law, R. C. Paul, in this place Wednesday morning, a little after ?0 o'-clock. Mayor Jones died of neuralgia of the stomach, a painful disease which had long threatened his life. He died greatly lamented by his family and frends. He has[was] a stern and most efficient Mayor and his loss to the town can not well be supplied, Mayor Jones was in the 70th year of his age.
