Robert Sutherland, Mentone
Robert C. Sutherland, 81, a 55-year resident of Mentone, died Monday in Redlands. He was born in Elk Creek, Va.
He was a carpenter 24 years in the Redlands and Mentone area.
Survivors include his wife, Laura C.; a daughter, Juanita Barnett of Yucaipa; a son, Robert T. of Bellflower; four sisters, Jean Dixon of Redlands, Wanda Hummer of Las Vegas, Nev., Virginia Foss of Nebraska and Leona Wright of Michigan; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Friday in Hillside Memorial Park. The F. Arthur Cortner Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
