Mrs. Frank (Leona Young Brian) Brian died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 1977, at Baton Rouge General Hospital. She was 87, a native of East Baton Rouge Parish and a resident of Zachary in the Plains.

Body at Rabenhorst Funeral Home with visiting from 4 to 10 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 9:15 a.m. Friday. Religious services at Plains Presbyterian Church at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Lamar Hicks. Burial in Young Family Cemetery, Plains.

Survived by five daughters, Mrs. Ben (Virginia) Glasgow, Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Barton Bordelon, Zachary, Mrs. W. E. (Lena) Doss, Dallas, Tex., Mrs. Charlie (Olive) LaCospe, Liberty, Miss., and Mrs. Harry (Henrietta) Daniel, St. Francisville; four sons, Malcolm Y. Brian and Frank S. Brian, both of Baton Rouge, Hardy M. Brian, Plains, and Joe E. Brian, Centreville, Miss.; one sister, Mrs. Sadie Y. Stewart; 26 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Frank Brian.

Active pallbearers: grandsons, David Brian, James H. Malone, Bobby Daniel, Ronald Brian, Bobby Brian, John Hodge and Sidney Brian. Honorary pallbearers: Warren Taylor, William Lobdell, George Brian, Robert Jennings and Walter Brian.

She was an active member of the Plains Presbyterian Church, member of the UDC, Real Daughters and Baton Rouge Music Club.
