RAYMOND ACKERMAN
Raymond R. Ackerman, 87, of R. 3, Morgantown, died at his home Sunday, August 13 after a five-year illness.
A native of Rome, Ind., he lived most of his life in Vincennes, coming to Brown County 23 years ago.
Survivors are his wife, Anna; two sons, Raymond of Indianapolis, and Paul, with the Indiana State Police at Martinsville, three daughters, Mrs. Goldie E. Huff of Morgantown, and Mrs. Ruth E. Osborn and Mrs. Marjorie L. Sullivan, both of Nashville; a sister, Mrs. Anna Smith of Evansville; 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday at the Flummerfelt Funeral Home in Vincennes, with the Rev. Peter Macko officiating. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery there.
