Charles P McCartney Sr. a son of Andrew B. and Maria Jane Eby McCartney born in Delaware County Indiana. He enlisted in the US Navy before WW1 and served on the USS Louisanna and several other Ships. Charles married to Emma Hall in 1922 and lated married to Esther Mauler in 1931, 1 son to this union was Charles P. Jr. and Daughter Wanitta. Charles was retired from Delco Remy and his wife Esther owned and operated the McCartney Diner in Muncie Indiana. He was a Verry kind and loveing person and would give his shirt of his back for others..
