Emanuel Bahn, 75, Bittersville, Dies
Bittersville—Emanuel Bahn, 75, well known miller and farmer, died at 1:30 o'clock yesterday morning at his residence, Windsor R. D. 1, this place. He has been in ill health for the past year and was bedfast for about four weeks.
Mr. Bahn was the husband of the late Leah Eberly, who died more than eight years ago, and a son of the late Chester and Leah Lehman Bahn. He operated Bahn's Mill, here for a number of years prior to 1926, when he turned the business over to his son. Since that time, he has been engaged in farming. He was a member of Bittersville Evangelical Sunday school.
Surviving are these seven children: Earl S. Bahn, 216 Park place, York, and Roy, Charles R., Emanuel C, and Harry S. Bahn, Mrs. Albert Swords and Mrs. Gordon Baker, all of Windsor R. D. 1; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and these six brothers and sisters: Mrs. John Baum, Loganville; Samuel Bahn and Mrs. John Godfrey, both of Red Lion R. D. 2; Mrs. Eli Hartman, York R. D. 6; Daniel Bahn, New Freedom, and Mrs. Howard Hengst, York R. D.
Brief funeral services will be held at the late residence at 1:30 o'clock (DST) Wednesday afternoon with further rites in Bittersville Evangelical church. Rev. Charles Russ, pastor of that church, and Rev. George Keeney, of the Church of the Brethren, will officiate. Interment will be made in Codorus Church of the Brethren cemetery, near Loganville. Arrangements are in charge of Funeral Directors Earl B. Burg and Son, Red Lion.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at 1:30 o'clock (DST) Wednesday afternoon with brief services at the late home and further rites in Bittersville Evangelical church. Interment in Codorus Church of the Brethren cemetery, near Loganville.
Friends may call at the residence Tuesday evening, 7 to 9 o'clock.

Bittersville — Funeral services for Emanuel Bahn, well-known miller and farmer, who died Sunday morning at his residence, Windsor, R. D. 1, this place, were conducted yesterday afternoon in the local Evangelical church.
Rev. Charles Russ, pastor, and Rev. George Keeney, of the Codorus Church of the Brethren, officiated. Several hymns were sung by the Bittersville Evangelical church choir. Grandsons were pallbearers: Charles N., Ray. Allen, Chalmers, Frederick and Burnell Bahn. Interment was made in Codorus Church of the Brethren cemetery, near Loganville.
