Alfred Seymour, 67, passed on June 14, 2007. Alfred was a lifetime citizen of Ocean Springs, MS, where he was an active member of the NAACP, and a former member of the Knights of Peter Claver. Alfred retired from Universal Life Insurance Company, where he was the southern district manager. He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife of 47 years, Patricia Seymour. He also leaves behind seven children: Alfred J. Seymour, Anthony B. Seymour, Alicia D. Seymour-Batts, Arnold M. Seymour, Arkema P. Seymour, Shasta T. Keys, Alfaresha M. Crawford. Additionally, he leaves four sisters Jocelyn Mayfield, Norma Williams, Mariam Sullivan and Ramona Bousqueto. Alfred also leaves three brothers, Henry Seymour, Roger Seymour and Christopher Seymour. Visitation will be on Monday June 18, 2007 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Ocean Springs, beginning at noon, with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Ocean Springs. Services are under the direction of Hartwell's Christian Mortuary, Gulfport, MS.
