Nell is survived by her daughters, Anne (James) Shannon of Naperville and Ruth (Dwight) Judy of Syracuse, Ind.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Emma (nee Curry) Atkins; husband, William; brother, Pearce Atkins; and sister, Dorothy Atkins.
