El Dorado, Kan. — Ethel "Pauline" Wilson, 90, passed away Friday evening, April 23, 2010 at Vintage Place in El Dorado.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Lawns Cemetery. Pauline was born in El Dorado on March 21, 1920 to Charles and Cora (Martin) Petty. She grew up in El Dorado graduating from El Dorado High School in 1938 and El Dorado Junior College. Pauline was married to Orlan "Red" Wilson on Dec. 31, 1946 in El Dorado; they retired to Beaver Lake, Ark., in 1980. Pauline worked as a loan officer for Eureka Federal and was the co-owner of Wilson Drilling; she was a member of the Park Avenue Baptist Church in El Dorado and an Eastern Star. Pauline enjoyed music, playing the organ and piano in her church in Arkansas; she had a beautiful singing voice and loved to paint.

She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne (John) Miller of Wichita and Joan (Ted) Sanders of El Dorado; four grandchildren, Sarah Harrison, Caleb Sanders, Chris and Nichol See; five great-grandchildren, Corrin Harrison, Sophia Harrison, Sandra Smith, Austin and Sabrina See. She is preceded in death by her husband, "Red"; a daughter, Paula
