ADA DROGE ALT
Ada Marie Droge, youngest daughter of Wm. and Emilie Droge, was born Nov. 25, 1895, on a farm in Nemaha County, Kansas.
Ada was baptized and confirmed in the united Church of Christ near Bern, Kansas.
She graduated from DuBois High School and nurses training at St. Luke's Hospital in Denver, Colo. After graduation she was in the nursing profession for many years in Colorado and later in California.
September 29, 1951 she was married to Edmund F. Alt of Los Angeles, Calif. Two infant brothers, her parents and her husband, who passed away Jan. 8, 1953, preceded her in death. After the passing of her husband she returned to DuBois to make her home until a lingering illness and death at Pawnee City hospital at 4"15 p.m., Sept. 19, 1967 at 71 years, 9 months and 25 days of age. She leaves to mourn two sisters, Mrs. Louise Koester, Mrs. Alma Meier, DuBois, Nebr.; one brother, Albert H. Droge, Denver, Colo.; tow nephews and three nieces, many friends and other relatives.
Traveling abroad and in the united States was one of her pleasures.
