GLENN ALLISON
Glenn Allison, 70, Seneca, died Thursday, April 23, at a Topeka hospital.

Mr. Allison lived on the family homestead north of Seneca, where he was a farmer and stockman 42 years before he retired in 1977 and moved to Seneca.

He was born August 15, 1916, on a farm north of Seneca, the son of Marsh and Sarah Kramer Allison. He attended Prairie Grove rural school and was graduated from DuBois, Neb., high School in 1935. He farmed with his father and brother after he graduated from high school.

Mr. Allison was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ near Bern, Nemaha County Historical Society and Nemaha County Farm Bureau.

He was married to Marjorie Gugelman May 11, 1941, at Bern. She survives.

Other survivors include three daughters, Jane Vandruff, Burke, VA, Cathy Meyer, Chesterfield, MO, and Susan Pace, Anchorage, AL; a son, Richard Allison rural Seneca; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday morning at Friedens United Church of Christ by Rev. Duane A. Lookingbill. The organist was Margaret Hecht. The soloists were Bill Hecht and Julie Droge. The pianist was Nanette Farwell.
