Albert Bernan Leiskau, age 57, Wausau, formerly of Mattoon, died Wednesday, January 30, 1991 at Wausau Hospital Center.

He was born August 28, 1933 in the town of Almon, the son of the late Albert G. and Emma (Christmon) Leiskau.

In 1953 Albert was united in marriage to Mary Jane Bauer. He then married Ann B. Olson on May 26, 1984. She survives.

In addition to his wife, Ann, survivors include six sons, Chris Leiskau, Arizona, Albert D Leiskau., Escanaba, MI, James Leiskau, Waseca, MN, Donald Leiskau, Boston, MA, Edward Leiskau, Escanaba, MI and Charles Leiskau, at home; three daughters, Beverly (John) Kangas, Tucson, AZ, Dawn Paulson, Waco, TX and Shelley Hack, Wausau; two sisters, Esther (Edward) Zorko, Butler and Norma Liesch, Black Creek; and seven grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harvey and Clarence, and one sister, Alice Krause.

Funeral services were held February 2, 1991 at Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home, Birnamwood. The Rev. Roger McAbee officiated. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Mattoon.
