He was born March 12, 1886 in the town of Almon, the son of the late Fred and Augusta (Lindner) Leiskau.
Albert was united in marriage to Emma Christmon. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Alice (Edward) Krause, Milwaukee, Esther (Edward) Zorko, Butler and Norma (Herferd) Liesch, Shawano; one son, Albert (Ann) Leiskau, Greenland, MI; 19 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Albert was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two brothers, Fred Leiskau and Gustav Leiskau and two sons, Harvey and Clarence.
Funeral services were held February 13, 1971 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Bowler. The Rev. H.G. Bents officiated. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, town of Hutchins.
