Services for Mrs. Harvey D. Hodnett, 23, were held in the First Methodist Church. She had been ill since the birth of her youngest son and passed away in an ambulance near Loving, Texas en route to a Wichita Falls hospital. She received her education in the schools at Piney Grove and Odom, nearby towns to her father's farm. She became a member of the Methodist Church in her early youth and became a member of the Piney Grove Methodist Church in Georgia. After moving to Graham, she attended the Methodist Church here. She met her husband Harvey Hodnett in 1945 while he was serving in the War. The couple married on 3 November 1949 in Piney Grove, Georgia, and came to Graham to make their home. Survivors include her husband; two sons; five brothers; two sistesr.
