Mr. Frank D. Bufford, 63, prominent farmer of Wilkes County, passed away at his home in Tignall Saturday night.
Funeral services were conducted at Tabor Church, Monday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock, with the Reverend Robert Taylor officiating. Interment took place in the church yard. Acting as pallbearers were Messrs. Lamar Sutton, Elmer Bradley, Eddy LeRoy, Cleo Tanner, Clive Echols and Ellis LeRoy.
Mr. Bufford is survivied, besides his wife, Mrs. Sallie Bufford, by one daughter, Miss Bufford of Tignall; five sons, William T. Bufford of Asheville, N. C., Metz J. Bufford of Washington, D. C.; Comer Bufford of Morgantown, N. C.; Hoyt Bufford, Los Angeles, Cal., and John Bufford of Reidsville, N. C., two sisters, Miss Annie Bufford and Miss Betty Bufford of Tignall; Five brothers, Burl Bufford of Linconton, W. D., Tally, Sam and Guy Bufford all of Tignall.
