Mark John Griego Sr., 42, of Cheyenne died July 14.

His wisdom, compassion, thoughfulness and consideration for others will never be forgotten.

He led a fulfilling life dedicated to his family and those he loved. His unselfishness never ended as he was always so giving and willing to give his last dollar to those in need.

He was born Jan. 15, 1964, in Cheyenne and was raised here, those who knew him would always see him cruising his pride and joy, a sky-blue '54 Chevy. Our dad, grandpa, husband, son and brother always put his family first. His love for everyone will leave an everlasting legacy.

He worked at Unique Wood Design as a laborer, installing custom wood flooringand was always a hard and dedicated worker.

He met the love of his life, Jackie Cortez Griego, whom he married May 6, 1983. They have been inseparable ever since.

He married Jackie Cortez on May 6, 1983. They have been inseparable ever since.

He enjoyed driving 1954 Chevrolet.

God blessed them with four children, three daughters, Delia Griego of Lorain, Ohio, and Deana Griego and Arelia Griego, both of Cheyenne; and his one and only son, Mark Griego, Jr., also of Cheyenne.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Cortez Griego; three daughters, Delia Griego of Lorain, Ohio, Deana Griego and Arelia Griego, both of Cheyenne; his son Mark Griego Jr. of Cheyenne; his mother and stepfather, Odie and Frances Conrad of San Jose, Calif.; five sisters, Delma Griego DeLeon of San Jose, Gloria Griego Ferrel of Ceres, Calif., Gina Griego Pimentel of Cheyenne, Martha Griego Esparza of San Jose, and Elizabeth Griego of Cheyenne; and two brothers, Alex Griego and Anthony Griego, both of Manteca, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alex M. Griego; his grandparents, Amalia and Marcelino Griego and Ben and Lucy Aragon; and uncles, George and Leroy Griego.
