Died, last Thursday morning, about two o'clock, in the 48th year of his age, Cpt. John Smith, of this town, Upper-Houses--He went to bed about half after nine o'clock, in perfect health,--about half after one was observed by his wife to be in great distress and before they could get any assistance he expired. He has left a sorrowful widow and [?] children, together with very numerous relatives and friends, to lament his very sudden and surprising death.
