Mrs. Freeman Creaser Unknown Newspaper and date

There passed away at her home on Saturday, April 6th, Mrs. Freeman Creaser, after an illness of over two months.

She is survived by five sons, Eben, George, Wilfred, Howard, and Harry, all residing in this place; also three daughters, May, Mrs. Fred Smith; Marion, Mrs. George Dauphinee, of Pinegrove; and Miss Julia, at home. A son, Laurie, predeceased her about a year ago and a daughter, Ellen, Mrs. Rupert Smith, several yeras ago. Her husband predeceased her a year ago.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Freeman Creaser, whose death occurred at her home on Saturday, April 6, after an illness of several months, was held from her late residence the following Monday afternoon. The service was conducted by her pastor, Rev. Dr. Cunningham of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, of which church she was a loyal and devoted member. Dr. Cunningham spoke words of comfort to the bereaved from the text, I Cor. 3:22-23, "or life or death, or things present, or things to come, all are yours; and yee are Christ; and Christ is God's". The hymns sung were "Around the Throne of God in Heaven", "Peace Perfect Peace" and "There is no Night There". The pallbearers were Lawrence Romkey, James Romkey, Charles Mosher, Norman Oxner, Robert Mosher and Lemuel Ritcey. Interment was made beside her late husband, who passed away less than a year ago, in the cemetery at Shepherd's Hill.
