Sometime after 1880, John and Percy probably moved with son Newell and his family to Fargo, Dakota Territory. Percy died August 19, 1890 in the Dakota Territory/North Dakota. According to Greenwood Cemetery records, the cemetery plot was purchased by her husband J.S. Head.
