Patsy Jo West
Funeral services for Patsy Jo West, nine-year-old daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Bill West of RFD 5, Hattiesburg, were held at 1 o'clock this afternoon at the Macedonia Church of God. Rev R. D. Blackledge, pastor of Barrontown Church of God, assisted by Evangelist Homer Duck, officiated; Burrial was in the new Barrontown Cemetery. Patsy Jo Was the first person to be buried there.
She died unexpectedly at 6 p.m. Saturday in the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Davis of RFD 2, Lucedale. Pasty Jo and her family were visiting in the Davis home.
Survivors are her parents; one brother, Bennie West; one sister, Fathie Dellene West; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan West of RFD 5, Hattiesburg; and maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ben Davis of Lucedale, RFD 2.
Pallbearers were Floyd L. Pitts, W. G. Cooley, Paul Cooley and D. C. Cooley.
Magnolia State Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
