Harmon G. Stech, 69, died at 12:30 PM Friday, at the home of his sister, Mrs. Emma Stech Witte, Warren Route 3. He had resided in Huntington County for most of his life.

Mr. Stech was born August 4, 1886 in Lancaster township to Andrew and Melinda Clayton Stech. He married Winifred Shutt on August 16, 1911 at Warren. She survives.

Other survivors include a son Harmon G. Stech, Fort Wayne, a daughter, Mrs. Gene Wilkinson of Markleville, five grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Witte and Mrs. Evelyn Click, Nowata, OK and two brothers, Charles C. Stech, Princeton, NJ and Ernest H. Stech, Rhodes, MI. A brother and sister preceded in death.

Stech was a member of the Warren Congregational Christian Church. He was a retired oil worker and farmer.
