She was born in Antigo, Wis., and was a homemaker and a member of Christ Gospel Church.
She was a devoted Bible reader and teacher, enjoyed crossword puzzles, collecting bears and reading books.
Survivors include her 10 children, Sandra Dillard and her husband, John, of Clarksville, Betty Black, of Jeffersonville, Kenneth R. Eldridge and his wife, Beverly, of Floyds Knobs, Marilyn McCafferty, of Jeffersonville, Darlinda Shipley and her husband, Jerry, of South Carolina, Denver Eldridge and his wife, Denise, of Lanesville, Rhonda Antz and her husband, Ronnie, of Jeffersonville, Jim Eldridge, of Bryant, Wis., Tim Eldridge and his wife, Koto, of Jeffersonville and Romelle Smith and her husband, Joe, of Borden; a brother, Ray Morgan and his wife, Mary, of Milwaukee, Wis.; 34 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Canada Eldridge.
Visitation will be at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel, Jeffersonville, from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and at the church after 9:30 a.m. Friday.
