My grandmother called her "Aunt Meggie." Some sources say she married Joe Bryant in Sept. 1900 but I don't think that's correct as she would have only been 12 years old.

FATHER: Walter Buffington
MOTHER: Emma (Lipscomb) Buffington

Mignon's death certificate stated her date of birth as May 3, 1884 rather than the 1888 carved on her grave marker.

INFORMATION SOURCES:
- Hall County (GA) death certificate of Mrs. Mignon Bryan.
- Hall County WWI registration of Joe Brown Briant.
- 1900 U. S. Census, Hall County, for the Walter Buffington family.
