Bernice Bassett passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2010 in Salt Lake City at the age of eighty-eight. She resided at 483 East Burton Avenue (2360 South) in South Salt Lake, Utah at the time of her death.
Born January 15, 1922 in Deadwood, South Dakota to Issac and Gertrude Himes.
Married Frank Bassett on June 1, 1940 in Los Angeles, California. Bernice took great pride in her yard and home. She retired in 1985 from Sears as an Interior Decorator. She had loving neighbors who will miss her greatly.
Survived by best friends Karen and Jerry Jentzsch, step-son Richard, nieces and nephew. Preceded in death by her husband, son [David], and parents.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, April 23, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South).
