Arlene E. Arnold, 81, passed away Monday, April 19, 2010, at Cedar Haven Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Cletus H. Arnold Jr. Arlene was born in White Oaks, on December 3, 1928, a daughter of the late Elmer and Esther L. (Long) Doster. She worked for 25 years at Demford Manufacturing Co. before retiring. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Ladies Auxiliary of Elks, Rescue Social Club and the Republican Club. She is survived by a son, Glenn, husband of Sharon Centini-Arnold, of Absecon, N.J.; a granddaughter, Desiree Ann, wife of Jay Nelson, of Lebanon; a greatgrandson, Ian Nelson, of Lebanon; two sister's, Alverta Rudy, of Fredericksburg and Faye Long, of East Petersburg; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Elwood, Carl, Richard, Ray, Roy and Gene Doster. Funeral Mass Saturday at 10 a.m. from St. Mary's Church, 2 N. 8th St., Lebanon, PA, 17046. Interment at Kimmerlings Cemetery. Viewing hours Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday morning from 9 to 9:30 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 126 S. 9th Street, Lebanon, 17042.
