Her funeral service will be 11a.m. on Saturday, April 24, at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Andy Royals officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 23, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Baker was born January 11, 1913 in Gaston County to the late Bert and Kimmie Charlotte Randall Lynn.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Archie Lee Baker, infant daughter, Patsy Sue Baker, and great-grandson, Bobby Helms.
Mrs. Baker was a homemaker. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by one son, Bobby Baker of Lincolnton; two daughters, Elaine B. Kanold and Mary B. Wright, both of Lincolnton; three sisters, Edith Sneed, Louise Garrison, and Betty Jerrill, all of Lincolnton; five grandchildren, Richard Hayes, Angela Hovis, William Hayes, Susan Helms, and Mack Wright; eight great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
