Marjorie was born June 24, 1925, in Hunter, Okla., the daughter of Perry and Bertha Dugan Moore. She graduated from Phillips University, Enid, Okla. A resident of Sharon since 1959, moving from Hennessee, Okla., she was a teacher at Sharon and Attica, until retiring.

She belonged to Community Bible Fellowship Church, Medicine Lodge.

On Nov. 27, 1952, she married Everett Shelite in Hunter, Okla. He died June 2, 2000.

Survivors include: two sons, two daughters, 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Moore; and a sister Betty Benson.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Community Bible Fellowship Church, Medicine Lodge, with Pastors Dwain Richert and Justin Mourn presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Larrison Funeral Home, Medicine Lodge. Burial will be in Attica Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the Sharon Alumni Association or the Community Bible Fellowship Youth Group, both in care of the funeral home.
