Clarence C. Andrews was the oldest child of Joseph Leonard Andrews and Eliza (Lyde) Clifton Andrews. He had 4 siblings: Conley Joseph, Charles Arnold, Lilly, and Clydie.

He married Hassie Taylor on February 19, 1912 in Wolfe City, Texas. They raised two children: Quantrell and Ruth Yvetta.

Former Resident Clarence C. Andrews Buried At RehobethFuneral services were held on Sunday Afternoon. October 23 at 2:30 for Clarence C. (Trapp) Andrews, at the R. W. Owens & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jesse Iwig, Presbytarian Minister of Greenville, conducting the final rites. Pallbearers were: W.A. Mullins, W.A. Milton, M.R. Provine, Waid Stidham, Leslie Sharp and Jon Boggess. Interment was at Rehobeth Cemetery. The son of Joseph L. and Lyde Clifton Andrews, Clarence C. Andrews was born May 20, 1884, in Illinois and came to Texas with his family at the age of two. He was a resident of Wolfe City until 1942 when he moved to Grand Paririe, his place of residence at the time of death. Mr. Andrews was married to Hassie Taylor, who preceeded him in death in 1938, and to this union two children were born. Death came at 6:50 a.m., Friday, October 21 at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, following an illiness of three weeks. Mr. Andrews was a member of the Church of Christ. One brother, C.A. Andrews former postmaster here, preceeded him in death. Surviving realtives are: one son, Quantrell Andrews, Dallas; and one daughter, Mrs Ruth Y. Shelley, LosAngeles, Calif; one brother, Con Andrews of Greenville; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Barrow of Fort Worth and Mrs. Clydie LeClere of Chicago, also two granddaughters.

Hassie, Clarence & Quantrell AndrewsFuneral Services for Mrs. C. C. AndrewsFuneral services for Mrs. C.C. Andrews were held at the local Church of Christ at 1:30 P.M. on January 5, under the direction of G.W. Weatherier of Greenville, Paulbearers were ? n Taylor, J. E. Stapleton, John ? W.A. Williams, Frank Dees, ? Spralding. Interment was at Rehobeth Cemetery. Hassie Taylor Andrews was born in ? Miss. pm November 5 ? and came to Texas with her parents at the age of fourteen years. She married on February 19, 1912, to Clarence C. Andrews. They lived for a time in Commerce, then came ? City to make their home Here. Mrs. Andrews joined the Church of Christ here in 1919, where she has been an active member since then. To this union were born two children, Quantrell and Ruth. Hassie Andrews and her daughter, left here on December 19 to spend Christmas holidays with her brothers, Clifford and Jim Taylor, in Oklahoma. Mrs. Andrews was in poor health for about a ? but was not seriously ill until days before she passed away January 3, 1935 in the home of her brother, Clifford Taylor,
