Karen L., age 54, of Choctaw, OK passed away May 29, 1996 after a long illness. A lifetime area resident, Karen was a member of the Wickline Methodist Church. Karen loved growing flowers in and around their home of 17 years and traveling to visit family and friends. Preceded in death by both her parents, and older brother Bobby Lee, Karen is survived by her husband Jim, daughter Jennifer, brother Roger Bowyer, sister-in-law Carolyn, nieces Hollie, Hope and Janiet, and nephew Paul. Memorial services were held May 31, 1996 in the Chapel of Bill Eisenhour NE Funeral Home with Bob Winslow officiating. Interment was at Arlington Memorial Cemetery. The family has asked instead of flowers, donations be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
