George D. De Broux, age 71, town of Belle Plaine, died Thursday, May 17, 1973 at Shawano County Home.
He was born May 23, 1901 in, Phlox, Langlade County, the son of the late John and Lena (Kuhr) De Broux.
On February 24, 1925 George was united in marriage to Hazel Croner in Phlox. She survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include one daughter, Betty De Broux, Appleton; one son, James De Broux, Appleton; and two brothers, Desin De Broux and Elois, De Broux.
George was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Robert James De Broux.
Funeral services were held at Schmidt's Funeral Home, Wittenberg. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Mattoon.
