JOSEPH H. BUELL RITES SATURDAY

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for Joseph Henry Buell of Willamina, who died there last Monday. He had been a resident of Yamhill county all of his life.

Mr. Buell was born March 8, 1874 in Bellevue, the son of Margaret Thorp and Sameul Buell. In 1915 he moved to Willamina and had made his home in that community since. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Buell was married on Feb. 15, 1899 to Lois A. Gregory in McMinnville. She died in 1952. He was a member of the Methodist church and of the Fort Hill Grange.

Surviving Mr. Buell are a son, Earl H. Buell of Willamina; three daughters, Mrs. Ada Chase and Mrs. Hazel Cruzan, both of Eugene, and Mrs. Zelma Boyer of Willamina; one brother, Laurence Buell of Bellevue; two sisters, Mrs. Ora Vernon of Lebanon, and Mrs. Reva Case of Molalla; and six grandchildren.

Services were held in the Macy and Son chapel and interment in the Evergreen Memorial park. The Rev. Edward Terry read the service.
