Mr. McCann, a native of Paducah, was a retired correctional officer at the Kentucky State Penitentiary at Eddyville.
He served in the U.S. Army . during World War II.
His wife, Imogene McCann, and his parents, Lackey and Maude McCann, preceded him in death.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The Rev. Warren Phillips will officiate.
Mr. McCann is survived by a son, Michael McCann of Paducah; two daughters, Beth Elliott and Jan McClain, both of Paducah, and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at Roth Funeral Chapel after 3 : 30 p.m. today.
