Joyce Kelly

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 24, at Brownsville Christian Church for Joyce Rosalie Lowell Kelly of Eugene, who died April 16 of heart failure. She was 89.

She was born July 20, 1920, in St. Paul, Minn., to Harvey and Eva Johnson Wells. She married Paul Lowell on June 10, 1941, in Marysville, Wash. He died previously. She married Bill Kelly on Nov. 19, 1994, in Portland.

A high school graduate, she was a homemaker, a professional seamstress and a saleswoman at Town & Travel.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Clifford Lowell of Portland and Scott Lowell of Eugene; two daughters, Judy Hart of Milton-­Freewater and Rosalie Morris of Eugene; two sisters, Barbara Cavagnaro of Shady Cove and Beverly Ylvisaker of Vancouver, Wash.; 17 grandchildren; and 23 great-grand­children. A granddaughter, Lauren Hart, died previously.

Burial will be at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene. Arrangements by Alpha Immediate Cremation Services in Eugene.
