Mrs. Caroline Taylor.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky., Feb. 9. - (Special.) - Mrs. Caroline Taylor, aged 82, died yesterday morning at her home near Rockfield of pneumonia. She was the widow of Esquire Claude William Taylor, and is survived by two sons, Dr. John Quincy Taylor of Paducah and James D. Taylor of this city, and five daughters, Mrs. Ella Runner of this city, Mrs. Thomas Moss and Miss Rose Taylor of Rockfield; Mrs. Minnie Rone of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Nannie Thompson of Ohio county. She was a grandmother of Quincy Moss of Oklahoma City, who is at the point of death with the same disease.

MOTHER OF DR. J. Q. TAYLOR DIED THIS MORNING.


Mrs. Caroline Taylor, mother of Dr. J.Q. Taylor, of this city, died at her home in Rockfield, this morning at 5 o'clock. Mrs. Taylor had been critically ill of pneumonia for several days and Dr. Taylor was summoned to her bedside on Saturday. She was 82 years of age. She is survived by five daughters and two sons. Her life was a benediction and she was widely loved and respected. She was a devoted member of the Methodist church. The funeral will be held at Rockfield, but the time will depend on the arrival of a daughter from Oklahoma, who has been detained there by illness.

MRS. CAROLINE TAYLOR

Word to the effect that his mother, Mrs. Caroline Taylor, died Thursday morning at 5 o'clock in Rockfield, was received by friends of Dr. John Q. Taylor, of the Illinois Central hospital staff, yesterday. Several days ago Dr. Taylor was called to his mother's bedside because of her critical condition. She was 82 years of age and one of the most beloved women in the small village. She was a devoted member of the Baptist church. Funeral services will be held at Rockfield, but the time has not been set, owing to the failure of a daughter to arrive from Oklahoma. Besides Dr. Taylor, she is survived by one other son and five daughters.
