Harvey J. Adam
Casper - Services for Natrona County pioneer, Harvey J. Adam, 82, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Memorial Chapel.
Rev. Arthur G. Donnelly of the Second Presbyterian Church of Topeka, Kan. will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Adam died June 7 at his home in Casper following a short illness.
He was born March 15, 1901, on a ranch on Elkhorn Creek, east of Casper, by the Country Club. He was a lifetime resident of Wyoming and attended St. Martin Academy at Sturgis, S.D. Mr. Adam was a heavy equipment operator for the City of Casper and retired in 1966.
On July 14, 1922, he married Bertha Merle Humberson at Douglas.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Don (Erma) Burke of Casper and Mrs. Arthur (Billie) Donnelly of Topeka; three brothers, Earl Carroll of Casper, William Carroll of Spokane, Wash. and Robert Carroll of Mica, Wash.; two sisters, Elizabeth Beal of Casper, and Alice Teller of San Jose, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1974.
Flowers or memorials to the Blue Envelope Cancer Fund or the Central Wyoming Center Treatment Center and Hospice Program would be equally appreciated by the family.
