Funeral services for William John Adams, 87, of Flowood were held at 2 p.m. last Thursday, from the Flowood Baptist Church. Interment was made in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Ott and Lee Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Adams died Tuesday at the Crawford Nursing Home in Jackson. He was a native of Newton County, but had lived in Jackson for the past 20 years.

He is survived by two sons, Curtis Adams and Aubrey Adams, both of Jackson; three daughters, Miss Edith Adams, Biloxi, Mrs. Evelyn Bell, Jackson and Mrs. Mildred Blackburn, Camp Hill, Pa.; three sisters, Mrs. Ola Webb and Mrs. Grace Ezell, both of Union and Mrs. Zula Crane, Conehatta; one brother, Wirt B. Adams, Jackson; and fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
