Former Traer Girl Becomes Bride of Jack Ellis Haynes in Ceremony at Little Brown Church
Miss Isabel M. Nauerth, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. J. H. Nauerth, of Lakefield, Minnesota, formerly of Traer, was married Wednesday to Jack Ellis Haynes, of St. Paul, Minnesota. The wedding was a quiet affair, solemnized in the Little Brown Church in the Vale, near Nashua, Iowa, at 8 p. m., in the presence of the parents of the bride and a few Intimate friends. The bride is a graduate of the University of Iowa and a member of the Chi Omega sorority. She took post graduate work at the University of Oregon and taught in the West for a number of years. Of late years she has been employed in resort hotels both summer and winter. Eight summers have been spent in Yellowstone National park, part of which time she has served as manager of Roosevelt lodge.
Mr. Haynes is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, and is a member of Beta Theta Pi, social fraternity, and Theta Tau, engineering fraternity. While he is an accomplished musician, he has followed the profession of photography, succeeding his father, F. Jay Haynes, who opened the first Haynes studio in Yellowstone park In 1884. Today he is the official photographer of Yellowstone park and owner and operator of the Haynes Picture Shops, Inc. The couple will make their home at 544 S. Mississippi River Blvd., St Paul, in the winter, and in the Yellowstone park in the summer.
