Memorial Obituary posted in the Courier-Journal, Louisville, Kentucky, December 11, 1957:

MRS. EDNA A. PRICE
Mrs. Edna A. Metcalfe Price, 2104 Appleton Lane, Shively, died at 10:30 a.m. yesterday in Norton Memorial Infirmary. She was 73. Mrs. Price, a native of LaRue County, was a member of 18th Street Baptist Church. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Samuel Church, Mrs. Edward Kaiser, Mrs. Elza Scott, and Mrs. Homer Robinson; a son, C. W. Melvin; a sister, Mrs. Emily Wade; a brother, Charles Metcalfe; 10 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Arch L. Heady Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Boulevard. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.


Note: Edna was 83 when she died, not 73 as stated in the obituary. Also, there seems to be some confusion as to whether her middle name started with an A or an E.
